Happy Carnaval!

It’s that time of the year again! For the next 4 days, Sint-Oedenrode will be known as “Papgat” to celebrate the festivities of Carnaval.

On behalf of the entire team at Genugten Agri, we wish everyone a Fabulous and colorful Carnaval!

Carnaval explained:

Carnaval, derived from the word Carne Vale, is historically rooted from the Catholic tradition marking the final party before the 40-day fasting leading to Easter. It is the last chance to indulge in food, drink, and partying.

It is an annual 4-day spectacle celebrated mainly in the southern part of the Netherlands. The festivities commence on Saturday and finish on Tuesday. The celebrations often involve parades, street parties, music, dancing, and elaborate costumes.

Carnaval is all about celebrating together – the tradition, the togetherness and the joy!
