Innovative Pig Farming

Last week, we attended the Grand Opening of the pig stable project Romsuin in Romania, where we applied the latest technologies in pig reproduction. We will be sharing more about the completion of this project in the upcoming month. But moments like these highlight how fast the industry evolves. It also make us reflect on earlier innovations.

Back in 2014, we built a hypermodern pig stable for Van Sleuwen Holding in Sint-Oedenrode, integrating several innovative solutions at the time. It was a national project we still look back on with great pride.

This stable included:
✅ Active cooling system for optimal climate control
✅ Liquid feeding kitchen (wet feed system)
✅ Raised platforms to increase usable living space
✅ A pig toilet grid to improve hygiene
